Staci O’Toole, Vice President of Sales

O’Toole’s responsibilities as VP of Elite Underwriting Services will be to manage the sales team.

Prior to joining Elite Underwriting Services, O’Toole was Regional VP for R.E. Moulton for the past 10 years and was responsible for personal production and sales management for medical stop loss.

With 20 plus years experience in the employee benefits plan industry, O’Toole began as a broker in the Boston area before starting her self funding sales career as Regional Group Manager with both SAFECO and the Hartford Insurance Group.

O’Toole will be based in California.

Marty Byrnes, Account Executive

Byrnes will be responsible for stop loss sales in the mountain region.

Prior to joining Elite Underwriting Services, Byrnes has worked in product development, management and sales for self funded HMO and PPO products.  In addition, he has been an ERISA Compliance Manager, State DOI liaison and is a registered lobbyist.  Marty has over 20 years in the employee benefit products industry.

Byrnes will be based in Colorado.

Jeffrey Wylde, Account Executive

Wylde will be responsible for stop loss sales in the Midwest markets.

Prior to joining Elite Underwriting Services, Wylde held positions with R.E. Moulton, National Benefit Resources and Boston Mutual as a sales consultant.  Wylde has 20 plus years in the employee benefit products industry.

Wylde will be based in Chicago.

Kim Zielinski, Account Executive

Zielinski will be responsible for sales in the New England and Northeast market.

Prior to joining Elite Underwriting Services, Zielinski managed sales for the Northeast for R.E. Moulton and was a National Sales Director for First Health, a Coventry company.   She has over 10 years in the managed care industry with an extensive background in stop-loss and in the PPO business.

Zielinski will be based in the Massachusetts office.

Eric Turner, Director of Underwriting

Turner will be responsible for underwriting in the Burlington office.

Prior to joining Elite Underwriting, Turner was Director of Underwriting for R.E. Moulton.  He has also worked as a group medical underwriter for Blue Cross.  Turner has 20 plus years of underwriting experience.

Turner will be based in the Massachusetts office.

Donna Georgiou, Director of Underwriting

Georgiou will be responsible for underwriting in the Burlington office.

Prior to joining Elite, she was a Director of Underwriting for R. E. Moulton for 13 years.  She brings 25 plus years of underwriting experience.

Georgiou will be based in the Massachusetts office.

• 15+ years of experience in medical stop-loss industry with executive level responsibility for sales, marketing and client service functions.
• Commitment to consultative selling including the development of long-term relationships with clients.
• Experienced leader who has a demonstrated ability to manage people, achieve results through others and create high performance teams.

Alex Giordano, Vice President of Marketing
Giordano will be responsible for overseeing marketing nationally and for the Indianapolis office as well as acquiring new clients, retaining existing relationships, and identifying markets for future product growth.

Giordano’s career has spanned more than 30 years of insurance industry experience and he has built a nationwide network of producers. Although he has knowledge of all insurance products, his expertise lies in the stop-loss arena.Giordano is currently the President of the Self-Insurance Institute of America (SIIA).

Terri Moriarty, Vice President of Underwriting and Operations
Moriarty will manage the day to day operations and oversee underwriting functions for the Indianapolis office.

Moriarty has worked in the health insurance industry for 30 plus years with both domestic and international stop loss carriers and reinsurers, gaining the respect and trust of other industry professionals throughout the self funded community.

Jamie Stevenson, Marketing Representative
Stevenson’s responsibilities include developing and strengthening producer relationships for the Indianapolis office, and collaborating with the underwriting team to meet clients’ needs.

Prior to joining Elite, Stevenson was President/CEO and eventually owner of a third party administration firm which he sold 23 years later after growing it threefold through acquisitions, product diversification and internal growth.

Ronald Summers, Senior Underwriter
Summers will underwrite medical stop loss, develop and maintain producer relationships. He will also assist with ongoing development and implementation of office procedures and underwriting disciplines.

Summers has over 30 years of underwriting/marketing experience in the MGU and direct carrier environment. He began his career in the stop-loss industry in 1978 and was employed bt the MGU, SP Stucky (RE Moulton), as Vice President/Director of Underwriting from 1983 until it closed its Lafayette, IN office in 2010.

Sara Winand, RN, Medical Management Director
Winand will be providing the Indiana team with underwriting support for prospectiveand renewal business, focus on strategic claim management, and individual risk assessment for underwriting.

Prior to joining Elite, Winand had acquired a diverse clinical background as a registered nurse and forthe past 13 years has specialized in the medical stop loss market.

Tanyae Heidorn, Pre-Underwriting Assistant
Heidorn will provide support for the underwriters including set up, data entry and maintenance.

Heidorn’s prior employment has enabled her to bring stop loss experience to this position. She also has over 25 years of administrative experience, many of which were in the P&C insurance industry.

Kimberly Welding, Sold Case Coordinator
Welding will be responsible for handling sold case files including follow up on outstanding requirements, sold case data entry and policy issue. She will also assist with pre-underwriting responsibilities.

Welding has over 25 years in the stop loss industry. Her experience includes Policy Issue, Premium Accounting, Premium Auditing, Pre-Underwriting, Operations and Project Management. Welding is also a licensed agent for the state of Indiana.
